2. Yup.
I've been saying all year that my crying threshold regarding this election is pretty high, but I can feel it lowering as we get closer and closer. The part right after the 2-minute mark was a kick to the stomach.

9. Great video.
I really enjoyed watching it. Thank you for posting this.

It made me smile, and reinforced my belief that every bit of energy invested in this campaign is the right thing to do. He has the wisdom that is not found in the halls of Washington, DC. He represents the best in America.

16. There is the smartest man in the world
Anyone who lived through the depression, like my Grandad, who thought FDR was a God. He sounded like my Grandpa.

Yes, Trumad, I started to silently weep. Especially about how long he had left, and how many of his generation are gone. But he gets it. He's working for the young people and for their future.

Like I said, that man right there is the smartest guy in the world.

Loved Charles, but also loved the shots of the enthusiastic young people that he saw working hard for the future.

19. I've seen this a couple times...
and it brings a tear to my eye each time. I guess I'm not quite the tough guy I used to be...all for the better I'm sure.

This clip would be a great closer for BO's 30 minute commercial.

21. If someone doesn't cry watching the video, they have no soul
I can attest to crying with people who support Obama doing grassroots stuff over the past two years. People of all stripes, races, creeds and colors are so hopeful that we can see a change coming soon. I've never seen people actually cry with joy before like when they get handed an Obama bumper sticker. It is astounding.

Didn't cry - but it definately got a bit misty there for a minute.

If that is enough to save my soul, I don't know.

27. so touching
The way his voice caught when he was clearly talking about his wife--

I can't imagine seeing this video and not voting for Obama. I love being a Democrat... the other team may make good videos and speeches about flag waving and apple pie (I mean that sincerely... that kind of thing can cause a lump in my throat too), but Democrats are all about people and supporting each other. We're not just about America, we're about Americans.

31. What a nice and moving video.
How fitting that Charles was chosen. He seems like a great guy.

This really got to me since my 88 year old Dad passed last week. He was a Marine in the Pacific theater in WW2, a fireman for 32 years and an Obama supporter. He and my Mom were only married for 61 years. Like Charles, he was a good and decent man.

Thanks for sharing this.
