So the Repubs want to cry "socialist," huh?
I call bullshit. And luckily, there's a handy little flow chart available for determining exactly what the difference is between the mavericky moose-dressers and the evil "socialist" tendencies they're trying to scare voters with:

1. A diehard repug just sees that as getting back what they paid in.
A conservative farmer who wants the evil gubmit out of his life but has his hands out for crop subsidy payments will never equate that with socialism. They refuse to confront reality. It's easier to live in a world that looks down on someone with food stamps in the grocery store rather than see the subsidies to the huge corporate farms down the road or untold sums of economic development money and tax breaks to the Walmart in town.

Social for the rich? It'll trickle down. Government control of educational funding? It'll trickle down. Massive national debt? It'll trickle down.

Oh, wait, scratch that last one.
