The 200K Tax Cut and the 250K Tax Freeze Explained

For families making between 200K and 250K a year in Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), your taxes will not increase.

For families making less than 200K a year, you will receive a tax cut.

For Senior Citizens making less than 50K a year, the required-to-file amount will increase. Seniors in this income bracket will pay 0% income taxes.

I am just so sick of the spinning on the Teevee and the concern in "other" places.

It is easy to understand.

And it is fair. Much like Al Frankin's "Doughnut-Hole" solution to the Social Security insolvency problem of 2253.

Really, though, it kind of worries me that so many here got confused after he went over this particular point 367 times in each debate (well, that's what it seemed like to me). I remember thinking "Yes, I get it, no one gets a tax increase $250,000 and below, people under 200,000 get a tax cut. Move on!". Yeesh!
