7. He was on Hardball yesterday talking sense. There are two Pats -

-- one that spouts the RNC line (because MSNBC pays him to do that)
-- one that occasionally puts that away and says what he thinks.

Yesterday he was talking political strategy and it was interesting. He had many positive things to say about the Obama informercial and the campaign vs the McCain campaign.

I do not agree with him politically at all, but when he says what he really thinks he can sometimes be interesting/

when they were talking about the 30 minute piece that was airing last night said (paraphrasing)
I don't know why he's (Obama) doing it. He's two touchdowns ahead and there's only two minutes left in the game.

He has definitely come to terms with an Obama victory. As much as I don't like buchannan, I really don't think he's a complete political idiot, especially when it comes to poll numbers and campaign strategy. I think his big ego in regards to him thinking he's such an astute political mind, prevents him from pretending like mcsame has a chance.
