Hi (Roland99) Thanks for your point of view...unfortunately, we can't cherry pick our ads. By government law, we can't deny advertising time to anyone that doesn't technically violate FCC rules and regulations. I personally didn't hear it, as we are busy taking calls or preparing upcoming segments. Obviously, NONE of our ads reflect the personal opinions of the station or anyone on it. We don't choose sides as a media outlet, and frankly, no other media entity should in my opinion. It's not our job to tell people how to vote or what to think. That's up to everyone to do their research into the candidates and decide based on their own values. If we refused ads based on content that we didn't personally like, then that would be a violation of freedom of speech...something that makes America the great nation it is. If someone wanted to buy advertising time to refute that ad, they are certainly welcome to contact a sales executive here and do so. I'm with ya, but our hands are tied. The best thing you can do is get out and vote on November 4th! Let your voice be heard that way!! I hope that sheds some light on the tough position we're in right now, and that you'll continue to listen to the station for the music. And you can certainly let our management know of your thoughts by calling 625-1220, and search for Dale Schaefer in the dial directory. Take care... Kelly K
