NC May not have a primary
This is interesting. We had some screwy redistricting done after the 2000 census and got an extra representative due to our population increase. So we may not actually have a primary is the redistricting issue isn't resolved.

Here is a link to the contingency plan, which removes independents from our delegate selection process. In the primaries, independents are allowed to vote for D candidates but not R candidates. In the suggested contingency caucus, independents would not be allowed to vote.
