Chris Matthews saying that McCain never played the race card.....

Chris Matthews mangled an Obama quote in where Obama stated simply that his faith in the American people's Generosity and decency has been vindicated. Chris Matthews insisted that Obama was talking about his race, and saying that White Iowa had voted for him regardless. But when I listen to that quote, I get that Obama was talking about folks giving him support because they believed in his message (nothing to do with his race) part of it being that being a time for a better politics.

McCain attacked Obama's patriotism because of this statement that Obama made.....by lying about the statement itself, and forgetting McCain's own statement of how his faith in his country was restored when he was released after being a POW.

Chris Matthews defended McCain, and acted like McCain hasn't and isn't doing dirty politics (which is a bunch of shit).

In otherwords, Chris Matthews is full of shit, and he knows it. And Chris Matthews is the one that played the race card every chance that he could......since the primaries.

I don't believe that Chris Matthews believes that he did anything wrong, even though he did. He simply doesn't realize that this obsession over Obama's skin color vs. hard working Whites was always over the top. That everyone, especially now, knows Obama's story and his skin color, and it really is time for Chris Matthews to stop it with the race shit.

Far as McCain being rehabilitated, it will take more than Chris blathering on a Cable show to sell that shit to those who are, as we speak, still seeing Rev. Wright commercials.
