I vowed not to come on this site today.
You see how well that worked out. This freakin' election has officially has my brain on lock down. It wakes me up early, keeps me up late, occupies my thoughts when I AM awake. DU is my link to the political world, so I am on here every free second I have (which is a lot when you work twelve hour night shifts in front of a computer...).

I've ignored my friends, I've ignored my hobbies, I've forgotten about everything but this election.

But damn it, we're SO CLOSE NOW! SO DAMN CLOSE!

Thanks to everyone here for both somehow keeping me sane and making me crazier at the same time. I love all of you jerks!

so I'm not here as much as I have been in recent weeks.

But everyone I know, even people who are NOT normally interested in politics, EVERYONE is obsessing at this point.

I volunteer, work, and then come on line and read all the polls etc. I think I may go into withdrawal on Wednesday :)

doumo arigatou gozaimasu! This place is the best place to be ..a shelter in the storm. I could not go to any other political site and read the comments, because of the negative things said by Republicans. Even the SF Chronicle has too many freeper comments.. I had to be in a place where people were positive and uplifting..

thank you.. and I am feeling a little more secure today, and things are looking good for us.
I hope we see a Tsunami of votes for Obama.. Gambatte kudasai! :applause:
