This meme about the young people aren't early voting is a MYTH

First of all, how do pollsters know who has early voted? They poll people. How do they poll people? They call them. Young folks normally aren't sitting around a landline waiting on a call from a pollster. They have things like Iphones, Sidekicks, and Blackberries and they use them.

Secondly, there are a lot of new young voters who are below the surface here. Pollsters don't know who they are.

People who early vote don't exactly check a box for their age that they turn in to the state. Pollsters are guesstimating these figures based on polling results of a sample of early voters. Young people wouldn't show up in these polls for the same reasons they are being underpolled in regular polls.

I believe young people are early voting. I keep seeing these lines on tv and it's full of young people. I see the rallies on tv ad full of young people. This is a myth.
