and the most liberal member of the senate.

The only thing center-right about this country is that Big Media is way right of center

2. This country is about a center right as my ass.
Seriously, we only have two parties and they encompass far right to far left. The country is in the middle swinging towards the left right now. Sometimes it swing back to the right. Losers.

4. It's not bizarre, it's incorrect.
"center right" refers to a block of voters who usually tend to go to the polls.

The majority of the electorate is liberal or disenfranchised. That may be changing.

8. Sorry. I thought the body of my post made it clear
that I was mocking the ridiculous GOP talking points. Hence the quotes around"Center-right nation" and "most liberal candidate'

9. Note that in most countries 'liberal' essentially *means* 'centrist'
Which makes it sound very funny to us foreigners when someone is described as a 'dangerous liberal' and the like.

In the UK, liberal essentially means what it does in the USA, but with the awareness that a liberal is *centre*-left, and that one can be much more left than that.

In some countries, like Australia, 'Liberal' actually means "Conservative"!

10. The center-right thing is nonsense, issues polls show it to be untrue but the MSM keeps claiming it
without even questioning it or looking at the facts. They'll point to things like the election of Bush, which was barely a win, and argue since he is pretty far right the country is right of center. It isn't. Every single issues poll I have ever seen show the country is left of center on most issues. The Republicans have just been successful with their dirty Rovian campaign tactics for a while, but that is coming to an end.
