She is now a worldwide joke, instead of a national joke

Many of my friends care little about this US election stuff (apart from thinking that McCain is more of the same. Just older).

But Palin has been a hit from the start. Everyone can appreciate funny stuff. :)
Albeit the headshaking kind.

3. Palin's response, "I can see Canada from where I live in Alaska".
...My question is which ding dong set Palin up from inside her campaign?

7. So she's not only the laughingstock of the US and Canada, but the world?
Wow. She's accomplished so much during her short time in the spotlight.

17. It's also the most read story at the BBC site, ahead of "Man is found glued to toilet seat"
Unfortunately, "Man is found glued" leads in the "most emailed" category...

8. She's just earned the "Ugly American" label in the rest of the world...

Not recognizing multiple incorrect names and even job titles (I'm no foreign relations expert, but I think Quebec has a Premier, not a Prime Minister) feeds right into that label -- forget the fact that Canada is a next-door neighbor that represents pretty much her only claim to quasi foreign affairs experience.

I expect to see her again after this election, but only at the state or congressional level. She's now a victim of a self-imposed cement ceiling in politics.

I think it's much more likely that she moves her career into TV Land, where she'll annoy us as a commentator for a long time.

12. Lets not forget that this idiot has created a 500 Billion dollar gas pipeline
deal that from what I've heard passes Through Canada, a deal that is shaky at best, you'd think she'd have made herself aware of WHO runs the fucking country or at least their title..

The most knowledgable person in the US on Energy..

Yup,yup... :)

Someone needs to create the "Ugly American" Award and grace Her and others with it, seriously..

18. To tell you the absolute truth, I don't think that she was listening closely
and I don't think she understood half of what he was saying thru a french accent... That's her problem, she doesn't listen, she's not careful, and the entire campaign is an epic fail.. No way these clowns should be allowed near the executive branch.

16. Sigh. I'm so tired of being embarassed to be an american.
This is almost over. At least this prank keeps her from getting some public cat seat in the GOP. Now, she's toxic.
