Southeastern PA getting HAMMERED by Ads from both campaigns
In the past 30 minutes, I have seen 4 Obama ads, and 2 totally stupid McCrypt ads. They are all going for broke this weekend. I've never seen this many ads before, good grief. Tuesday can't come quickly enough!

1. I'm in Philadelphia and I think I'm going to avoid tv
until after the election. The McCain ads have always been pretty "bird"-worthy, but my finger's getting strained.

4. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who shoots birds at the TV when McLame
ads come on. My hand is tired too. :D

2. I haven't turned on the TV this weekend
but even before this weekend, at least on the radio, the ads have been fast and furious.

3. I've just seen 3 negative attack ads on Obama in a row here in PA
All in a row, it was crazy. A few of them I've never seen before.

One of them was the Wright ad, another was the Joe the Plumber ad, and another was a new one attacking Obama for taxing the upper class and corporations, claiming that it hurts the middle class' salary and history shows that always happens, and blaming Obama for stagnated wages (while failing to mention that it's Bush's economic policies in place that cut taxes on corporations where wages have stagnated).

5. Have you seen a Rev. Wright ad there?
I saw the end of an ad here with a pic of Obama and Wright paid for by someone other than mccain or the rnc.

7. in Ohio, we're getting slammed with the 527 ads...

Abortion. Supreme Court. Jeremiah Wright. I can't vote for Obama because he's going to take my money. Over and over and over and over again, no commercial break is free, at least one of them is aired, usually two running in a row.

CAN'T WAIT for Tuesday.

9. My sanity was ensured by getting rid of cable and tv years ago
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 11:06 AM by hlthe2b
I still watch a few shows on dvd delay or streaming online, a few MSNBC shows online or on my cell phone and catch clips of others (TDS and Colbert) via youtube or elsewhere.. But as a result, I have managed to skip much of the battleground state (CO) bombardment and saved many $100S to boot. I hear (via XM radio--AAR and elsewhere) or read about all these nasty ads and if interested will go stream them online...

I credit my sanity to this, truly...

10. "HAMMERED" seems a tad OTT for some images on a TV screen.
