A short elderly for Obama story.
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 01:56 PM by usnret88
Ms usnret88 spent the morning with her mom at the nursing home. Her mom’s roommate had guests, so the five of them were sitting in the common area chatting (guests in their 60’s, like us.) One of the others said something to the effect that all this ‘hoopla’ will be over Wednesday.

Ms usnret88 responded that it would be sorta tragic to have someone ‘like that girl’ in the White House.

Wife said that opened the floodgates, and the other 60+ woman said that if everyone had seen Obama’s teevee show the other night, then everyone would come to the same conclusion that they had, that what we need now is Obama.

Don’t know what the polls say us old people demographic is leaning toward, but some have seen the light.

edited to add: The nursing home residents were all delivered absentee ballots.
