Big Damn Deal! WE CAN'T CHANGE THEM BY WORRYING!!! All the DAMN talk in the world will not change shit!

You don't think Plouffe is thinking about this 1000 times more than all of the members on this board put together?

You don't think that Plouffe has a team of people working 24/7 trying to figure out what to do?? If we need to do anything!

Poluffe and his team would not take advice from anyone on this board anyway, nor should he.

Would ANYONE here rather have McCLame's poll numbers? Since so many think he is coming back, then why would you not be willing to swap spots with him????

Worrying about it here DOES NOTHING. All of the worry in the world does not change the polls.

My ass will be walking around Blue Springs, MO tomorrow and Tuesday from 9:00am to 7:00pm. THAT IS ALL I CAN REALLY DO TO CHANGE ANY POLLS.

And I am sure 50% of you live somewhere where you can walk in a close state and the rest can call a close state from home.

2. Ohio, Indiana and Missouri were always tight
Of course Pennsylvania has dropped into single digits. With McCain camped out there, and the fact that even Bill Clinton only won PA by 9%, this is to be expected.

6. Was that in 1992? Just 9%? Then Obama by 5 to 7 sounds good.

7. You make a good point.
Would anyone want to trade our poll numbers for theirs?

8. Well put. Worrying gets you nowhere. But I am surprised...
that anybody really believed Obama would win states like PA and OH by 10+ points. I mean anybody who really believed that was just setting themselves up for disappointment. For me, Obama being up by anything above 5 points in PA is fantastic news. As for Ohio, my home state, the fact that he is even competitive here(given the state's history and demographics)is a pleasant surprise. Let alone the fact that he is leading. Some people just don't know how to accept when things are actually good I guess.
