You people DO realize that ANY poll that predicts a McCain win will make a fortune

...if it comes true.

The fact that NONE OF THEM ARE means that he isn't going to win.


You would think that if there was some "grand conspiracy" to steal the election for McCain, that SOME POLLING OUTFIT would be in on it to make the theft look "legitimate".


Yet none of the polls are predicting a McCain win. NONE. Nada. Wouldn't it be beneficial for the "election thiefs" to bring a polling outfit into their fold to give their theft some legitimacy?

A Zogby, say? Or a Rasmussen? (Both of which are registered Republicans).


The polling outfits that call this race accurately will make the most money and get the most clients in coming years.


*SOMEBODY* is going to call this race correctly. Even if it is IBD (the one most favorable to McCain), Obama wins.



These pollsters all want to get their final polls right. Pew and IBD came closest in 2004, both calling it almost exactly correct.


Both have us winning.



The conspiracy bullshit needs to stop. The polls in 2004 got it right... exactly right. The polls in 2000 got it almost exactly right.


They have it right this time too.

Make sure you vote... make sure you work... but we're GOING TO WIN, people.

If everyone was in on it, as some have implied, the polls would all be in on it, too. No pollster wants to be way off in their final poll, because it's difficult to rebound from. No poll in a month and a half has shown McCain leading. None. Zero.

I don't know. I don't think it matters that much. I've read in a lot of places that Rasmussen is really right-wing.
