For me it is Dole/Hagan (I cannot wait to see that concession speech)
Bachmann/Tinklenburg (bye bye McCarthy beeyotch)
Coleman/Franken (not a huge Franken fan but it would be so sweet to see him win)

What about youse guys?

Coleman/Franken, Prop 8 in Calif., the factory farm animal proposition in Calif., a local zoo animal bond here in Portland, the South Dakota abortion ban thing, and also just seeing what unlikely states might go for Obama in case of a blowout.

Even more important, for me as a former Minnesotan, would be to see Coleman and Bachmann thrown out on their collective ears.

What I would MOST like, however, is not a person, but a number. The number 60 has a nice ring to it.

Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 06:25 PM by Jennicut
A little revenge for old Tom Daschle whom I loved as a Senator and Minority Leader with McConnell (who is currently Rethug minority leader) would be nice though I think he hangs on. And revenge for Max Cleland with Chambliss losing or having to do a runoff would be nice. By revenge I don't mean being mean-spirited, all in good fun, you know? I'd like to see those two squirm all night long.

When that scumbag Limbaugh called soldiers who don't support the war "phonies" I wrote to McConnel asking him to denounce Limbaugh and that scum actually took the time to write a REAL letter telling me what a great supporter of the troops Limbaugh is. When I wrote to him urging him to support the new GI bill I got a form letter in return. Bastard.

20. A state representative race.
Not a D.C. one, but an Austin one, that small. But it's big to me. The woman my guy is running against is sixteen different kinds of crazy. I REALLY don't think she's going to win, not at all (she lost her re-election bid for school board, for crying out loud), but I still want to make sure that fucking loon doesn't get in the state capital representing us. Heaven help us if so. Nothing will get done but her little psycho pet fundie issues.

I'm also curious about the Cornyn/Noreiga senate race. I'm wondering if all the heavy turnout for Obama will do it for Noreiga. I hope so.

And I hope Sheriff Lupe Valdez is re-elected. A lot of county races I'm watching here.

46. What's happening in FL-13--the seat that ES&S voting machines stole from Christine Jennings
(and that our 10% approval rating Democratic Congress did nothing about)?

Is the Puke asshole, who 'won' it by some 350 votes--after ES&S voting machines 'disappeared' 18,000 Democratic votes for Congress--running? Who is opposing him? Christine?

Worst, most blatant election theft in the short history of electronic voting! Even beats Cleland vs. Chambliss in GA for egregious theft by voting machine.

55. Answering my own question: Yes, Jennings is challenging the unelected Puke, but...
...it looks like there is a DINO running as an independent and splitting the vote. Not sure of the politics of the situation, but that's what it looks like. Some research...

(biased against Jennings, but gives an overview)
