Our local CBS affiliate is WISH-TV in Indianapolis; according to Kos at www.dailykos.com, they are one of the stations not showing the 60 Minutes II featuring Barnes and the champagne unit/AWOL allegations.
I sent them the following e-mail. Keeping it nice, I think, might get a better response.
Any other Hoosiers out there--keep up the pressure! And try to keep it professional. ;-)
Hello,
I was looking forward to viewing "60 Minutes II" tonight, as I have heard that there was going to be an interesting investigation regarding President Bush's re-election campaign. Now I have heard that WISH-TV will be preempting tonight's broadcast.
First, is it true that WISH-TV will be preempting tonight's (9/8) broadcast of "60 Minutes II"?
Second, if so, why? Are you responding to outside political pressure, or do you have other reasons for suppressing important information during a political campaign?
I hope that, if you have to preempt this episode tonight for valid reasons, you will broadcast it soon, in some other prime-time slot. Indiana's voters deserve no less.
Thank you for your attention.
