The Palin Prank Call, my theory
Imagine if you are one of the staffers assigned to "manage" Sarah Palin . There you are, probably ten times smarter, having to deal with Diva Dumbass and her boob of a husband and her bratty kids. Every day. I bet she is no joy to work for. Think about it, ever work for a "know-it-all", arrogant, narcissistic, ignorant asshole who basically dumps on you because she's the star and can only really feel good about herself by dumping on smarter people when she isn't facing the adulation of the faithful? Not to mention she has delusions of grandiosity saying things like "I should be the top of the ticket" etc. forgetting it was McCain that pulled her into the national spotlight, otherwise she'd still be hopping over moosepies.

The call comes in. You know it's a fake. I bet it felt soooo goood to hand that phone over. Sure, they probably got fired for it, but hell, revenge is sweet.

1. Like getting fired 3 days from an election you're going to lose is a problem.

3. At the end, her handlers grabbed the phone away fairly quickly.
Methinks the Palin staff was chosen more for their loyalty and less for their intelligence.

4. It was probably the ambitious kissass that grabbed the phone from her
There's always one in the crowd. It's good to know who they are because they'll throw you under the bus any chance they get.
