Poll for Dean Supporters only: How long have you been a DUer?

That's what my profile says (I can't remember when but I know it was last year).

I joined before I chose my candidate. I actively searched for a Democratic site after being so pissed off at mainstream media kissing Bush's ass while he leading us into an unjust war.

Man, and the crap that hit when the Taliban was given 43 megabucks in May of 2001? Shit hit the fan on that day. DU called it all back then.

The secret energy meetings, the Freepin Freepers (January of 2001, you couldn't read anything worthwhile on the message boards they were freeped so bad).

Then there was September 11th. Sad day. Freaky day here.

I remember December 14, 2001. I made the "big time" at DU with It's the Enronomy, Stupid where I coined the neologism, Enronomics, and it actually ended up being used in some places!

Damn, those were the days.

Don't ask me, but I think they are gone forever. After the debacle of 2002, nothing has been the same anywhere...

I was one of the few people who had anything to be happy about. I had a Democratic governor elected. But remember all over the country how many of the elections were such stunning turn arounds for the republicans?

11/02/02. I've been supporting Dean since day 1. After all, he had been my Governor for over 11 years and was pretty happy with him through-out, I had no choice! ;)

when I sat down and pulled all my column notes from a box, and there on a napkin left over from the inauguration wake, was scrawled "democratic underground.com." Which I had written after seeing the now infamous banner at the parade.

Of course that was a different profile. I changed when DU v2.0 changed.

I was certainly here before the November 2002 campaign....

Most Dean supporters seem to be long-termers.....same with Kerry, Kucinich, I think.

I have been lurking here since about June '03 and posting since Oct '03.

or thereabouts.
