As a lifelong piss-and-vinegar pessimist, naysayer, cynic, skeptic, and concerned person who is always worried "it's too good to be true," let me give you my official prediction as of right now:

We're gonna win.

6. I haven't wanted to say anything for weeks and months.

But I have that feeling.

The last minute mud slinging and threats haven't worked for the repukes this year.

Obama is a whole different kind of cat. A one-in-a-lifetime leader. Like a JFK or a Mandela or similar. But enough of a policy wonk orientation to match with a Clinton or Gore. And he seems happy almost all the time. Only angry when it is NEEDED for him to be angry. And even then you know that it's a directed non-personal anger. Makes him a fighter.

But I've kept my optimism to myself. But I donated as much money as I could afford.

I remember how bad I felt after Kerry.

But my guy's been quite adamant about it. For weeks.
