Wow! Wow! Wow! Just got back from my morning volunteer shift in NC!
What an experience! The place was overflowing with people. I canvassed to get people who have yet to vote out to the polls. Several left as we approached, to go vote.

Back at the office, they are leaving NO stone unturned. Calling and calling and calling. The neighborhoods have been picked over with a fine toothed comb to get everyone out to vote. They were getting volunteers in as fast as they could send them out and put them to work. They have over 150 on a list to provide rides.

This is mobilization! Un-freaking real, I've never seen anything like it!

Go, Obama! It is going to be a beautiful day!

7. I'm child sitting for some moms who went to vote - there was no school today in Mecklenburg County.
Offers to watch the children are greatly appreciated, if anyone has neighbors needing to vote whose children are home today.

15. You know, I don't know.
They were calling people whose vote had not shown up in the system yet, and were verifying as they were on the phone with people.

They were checking names against the Board of Elections data. Every vote that was early or absentee was in that system as of last night, if it will count.
I don't know it that is separate system or not. I didn't hear of any major problems, though.
