George Wallace's floor leader voted for...
Barack Obama.

My grandfather was the floor leader for Governor George Wallace while serving in the Alabama House of Representatives. Granted, he is a Yellow Dog Democrat and has never held any racist views. The key issue for him? ENDING the war in Iraq. The irony? He's a WWII veteran.

I just think it's ironic that someone connected to George Wallace, of all people, cast his ballot for Obama. How far we have come!
