Forgive me if this has already been asked. I did a search.

And yes, I have no patience when it comes to this particular election.

6. I have a piano class about that time and I missed last week.
Hmmmm...dunno if I can go.

Luckily, there's a Democratic election watch going on in a nearby building at the college. :) I COULD pop in and out.

11. Thanks. I missed last week, too, though. :(
I spent all week practicing for a vocal audition, so I'm kind of tired, anyway. No one else tried out for the alto part, so that's a fairly good indicator I probably got it. :)

I'm ahead of the other students in piano (which isn't saying all that much), so I get completely different assignments. I could simply e-mail her and ask her what to work on next.

3. Josh Marshall has a WTF on TPM - 3/2 hours, but
doesn't say where that's coming from. Rather like a DU post I think.

5. The polls in IN & KY
close at 6pm EST, so if IN looks too close to call or goes Obama then it should be a good night for Obama. VA is the one to watch. Those polls close 7pm EST.

9. I think IN and KY are states which have two times zones..
they won't say anything about them until the western parts finish at 7PM EST.

14. VA and PA are key to early calling ...

The difficulty right now is that it just so happens those two states are the ones experiencing the most problems with machines, lines, etc. Some of it is simply high turn out and no opportunity to vote early. Other parts of it are incompetence on the part of the organizers. Whatever the reason, there's issues.

If they get them sorted out enough to start delivering returns shortly after the polls close, and if both those states go Obama, it's over.

8 o'clock EDT at the earliest.

This of course doesn't consider some idiot editor calling it before any returns at all start coming in. But, still, 8 is the earliest. I'm personally thinking around 10 or 11 EDT if things go well.

CNN has a vote map up... as does dKos...

http://scoreboard.dailykos.com/map/

The Kos map has a countdown clock to when the first polls close... I may start biting my nails today! LOL!

19. Oh... it's a patience thing.
My mind is all over the place on this election. Pulling the lever felt great, the repubs with their MSM can be scary. But if we thought that, then they would win, and we know they are not going to win this one if for certain they didn't EVEN win the last one and the 2000 election.

20. If you REALLY want to distract yourself
watch this video. It simulates how and when the results will come in.
Warning: even watching it in condensed version like this is a bit of torture.
