After tonight, would "Democratic Underground" be the proper appellate for this site?

After tonight, would "Democratic Underground" be the proper appellate for this site?
Shouldn't it be something like: Democratic Uprising or Democratic Street Level or Democratic Skyscraper?

"Underground" implies that we're some type of unseen insurgent movement ready to overthrow THE MAN.

But I think, after tonight, we'll realize that we've done more than just overthrow THE MAN... we've also installed the OBAMA MAN.

So... should the admins consider a name change?

9. Yes, it will.
For the most part, the people on this site represent the left flank of the party. We will need to fight to make sure President Obama holds to the values we hold dear. Once in office, so many presidents are co-opted by big money, make deals with the devil, settle for the status quo, and forget about the folks who put them where they are. (Remember Clinton? :hide:)

I think the power of the netroots is not just to elect Democrats, but to make sure they govern democratically. As long as we're the ones fighting for the little guy against the huge corporate and institutional forces, we will always be underground, IMO.

Of course DU by any other name would be DU, but there's just something about that name...
