For all you DUers who think Aaron Brown is unfair
On tonights show:

an in-depth piece on Dubya & TANG

an in-depth piece on Kitty Kelly s upcoming book.

He may not be a Dem cheerleader, but I do not know what his views are, & that means he is fair.

1. I think Aaron Brown is one of the few legitimate journalists out there
He reports just the facts. He lets noting get in the way.

Aaron Brown is, IMO, one of the very few who are truly fair and balanced.

18. I agree.
I think you have to watch a show for a while to get a fix on how fair or not fair they are. One or 2 nites does not tell the story.

2. LOL...he said he will "judge" IF he should do the Kelly interview .. but
he ran every night the swift boat crap of smears....

seems like a major double standard...she has lawyers...it's been vetted so ball-up Aaron.

14. That is not true!
When the Swift boat story broke, he did not cover it. He said at the opening of his show that there seemed to be a credibility problem with some of the witnesses.

Later, he covered it, & told the entire story.

CNN is not my master...I took part in the call, email day to CNN...I spent an ENTIRE day blasting them, & have also sent letters to their sponsers, which I bet is more then YOU have done.

As of now, I have stopped watching almost ALL of CNN.

I am fed up with people hurling nasty crap at people.

7. Thank you for confirming that.
My phone rang and wasn't sure if I heard him correctly. So Aaron "I'll be the judge of everything" Brown has spoken. Case closed. Next.

8. One more thing.
Since my phone rang I missed the segment. What evidence did he provide to back up his declaration that the memos are fake?

10. He didn't give any evidence.
He just said they were fake. And he said that CBS still stands by their 60 Minutes segment.

6. Agreed - Newsnight tonight was a VERY BAD NIGHT for *.....
Each segment was well presented, and bodes well for Kerry if this sort of reporting can keep its momentum. I thought Biden was particularly good, and even Woodruff's piece (despite the error that "one thing everyone can agree on is that * started his service in 1968, and was HONORABLY DISCHARGED (!?!?!?!) in 1974 - I don't think there is wide agreement on the "Honorably"...) on TANG should have caused great concern amongst those * supporters who think that he was being truthful.

I think that the tide has turned...patience! The polls will follow...but keep the eye on the big prize!

12. When Aaron Brown left Seattle to become a 'star'
there was a lot of 'don't let the door hit on the ass' talk around here. his nickname was 'Arrogant Aaron.'
i am glad i don't have cable. he, along with the rest of them a big wastes of time, imho. check out his snotty interview on 'Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman.

13. Just before the invasion of Iraq, Brown had a dust up with one of DU's
most famous authors. This may have added to the anti-Brown bias.

17. I did not know that.
I watched Brown a lot during the war; that s when I became a Wes Clark fan.

19. I haven't been too critical of Brown. He seems to be sincere in his
quest for fairness. He doesn't always achieve a balance.

16. Aaron is acceptable for cable. He is no Keith Olberman and he...
certainly is not 60 Minutes.

I have no complaints with Aaron.
