How the heck do you get tickets to the biggest bash in history?

I bought plane tickets today ... and am now completely broke, but I figured I better do it now.

Hell, I haven't even had the time off approved. I may just end up sick or something. :)

Tickets to the bash ... I have no idea.

I'm just thankful I have a friend who lives near there on the 16th floor. Maybe I can borrow the Hubble and watch what's going on that way. :)

And here's the info: http://inaugural.senate.gov/2009/

Tickets for the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony will be distributed in January 2009 by both Senators and Representatives of the 111th Congress.


So email, write or call your Senators and Reps!

It also looks like you can buy them if you shell out massive amounts of loot, which I don't have. x(

My brother (military) is attempting to score the tickets since I took care of the hotel and train to DC. From what I've read, 70% of the parade route is for the public so even if we don't get tickets we can still see the parade. And someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that!
