3. I'd laugh..
if I thought she was actually going to go away. But, 40,000,000 bible thumpers think she's their savior.. so now she does too.

I think she goes back to Alaska.. takes Steven's senate seat (please God let that go to the democrat... Please Please Please).

Then, she has 2 full years as a senator and thinks she's over qualified now that she has "executive" experience AND as much senate experience as Obama did.. so she runs for 2012.

Much to the dismay of the few smart & sane republicans left in the party.

She already owns all of their clothes--might as well become a celeb sales rep.

15. It was a pretty stupid episode, but
amazingly timely for the day after the election. They had Obama giving parts of his acceptance speech in the show, so they had to work pretty fast.

17. You get it...
Palin can resign her governorship to her lieutenant governor & he can appoint her to the senate -- after Stevens is gone.

18. It's only a short-term appointment. There has to be a special election
This derives from Frank Murkowski's appointment of his daughter Lisa to his own vacated Senate seat when he was elected governor in 2002.

Now, Sarah would have a good chance of winning in a special election, especially since the turnout would be lower and her followers would be deeply motivated.

22. Will become an Alaskan hunting guide
Will disappear in the Denali National Park, while leading a group of "real American" fundies on a hunt for moose. A massive search, led by her friends Hasseback and JTP,will ensue. After days of searching, the discovery of bones will be found.A pack of fat and happy wolves will be found nearby, with one of them wearing a Palin 2012 doorag on it's head. This story will get little media exposure because the rest of the nation is so "over her".

23. We haven't seen the last of her.
She's the perfect front for a future neo-con score. She's extremely ignorant at the moment but I think she can be coached up to a more effective level than Chimpy achieved. I don't know if it would be more advantageous for them to try to take Stevens' seat in the Senate now or if they should have her go for re-election as Governor of Alaska and come out of that second term to run for President in 2016. Whatever the case is, I think the neos see her as an asset worth cultivating.
