Biden gets invite to 'SNL'

It’s the best day of Joe Biden’s life, but it’s about to get better.

Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers tells Politico that he’s kicking himself for not getting Biden to appear on the show during the presidential race – and that “the door is still open.”

Just imagine how heartbroken foot-in-mouth, camera-mugging Joe must have been that everyone else appeared on the show but him. And how happy he’ll be to know that he’s got a standing invitation.

So, we asked the 34-year-old steering that SNL ship what he’ll miss most now that’s it all over.

And, really, are the Tina Fey cameos kaput? (Answer: Yes.)
