My TWO final works...
Now it's time for me to start writing songs about other stuff for a while. But... we'll keep an eye on the Hannitys, Coulters, Limbaughs and O'Reillys of this world.

I'd like to go more directly than a site email or a blog. But, maybe if enough people sent to to him.

6. Obama-Lincoln is outstanding!
I must be dense cause I don't get the other one...

but I really love the Obama Lincoln thing. I think Lincoln was an awesome President and one of only maybe two or three Founding Fathers that came after the originals - the others would be FDR and MLK Jr. (LBJ would have made my cut except for the disastrous Vietnam War).

It is really very symbolic in a lot of ways. Good work.

I noticed you are on Facebook. I just added you as a friend. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd mention this wish and link the song on each site that you publicize yourself on... Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, your website, etc. Do you mention it at the events where you get hundred's of people to show up? Being in NYC, with a good sized audience for your shows, I would think someone out there might have a connection.

16. The second one is unbelievably fantastic!
The first one's pretty good, but it doesn't move you beyond the moment because it's just a humorous reflection of failure. In 15 years people will be hard pressed to identify either McCain or Palin.

The second one, on the other hand is an absolutely unforgettable positive image of 2 icons in a historical nexus, while still being lighthearted as opposed to ponderous. I think it is brilliant!

Frankly, a lot of the Lincoln stuff I' ve seen lately was getting stale. I think you just took ownership of the concept. Everyone else is going to have to compare their work to yours.
