All right! Sit Down! Shut up and LISTEN!
Stop freaking out! WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

Don't lose the focus on the goal and don't waste your time and energy worrying about something that most people are never going to see-that is the daytime pundit fest. At most half the people watch even network news so all the day to day stuff is irrelevant.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

Kerry supposedly had such a horrible last 5 weeks and Bush hit his stride. Well guess what, Kerry leads in freakin' Colorado and is within 4 point in North Carolina and 3 in Virginia.......VIRGINIA! Just to name a few and nationally it is within 2 or 7 points depending on who you ask-and is probably AT BEST (for Bush) EVEN

With all that supposedly is going on with "the campaign" it is just as tight as it was two months ago only in reverse. That was when everyone felt just peachy and were sure it was going to be easy-I even used the phrase "in a walk" well GUESS WHAT! IT STILL IS.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

You know it from people you talk to
You know it because the distraction is going to hurt Bush worse than actually discussing what EVERYONE knows is a dismal record
You know that W's number is 47% that is all he CAN draw
You know that the Republican voter registration has been unsuccessful and is probably split amongst registering Dems and Repubs anyway.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN! but don't take anything for granted THE WORK STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE not just here but at the campaign volunteer sites and in one-to-one conversations with friends and family.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN! NOW MAKE....IT .....HAPPEN.

GOT IT? GO!

1. Hey! One of our HS kids is an intern with the
Kerry campaign in Colorado! I hear she's quite a firecracker.

Had a good turnout last night at the Moveon.org candlelight vigil. Coverage in the news and papers this a.m.

5. I agree if we have honest elections it's *40%-Kerry60%
but what do you think about these touch screen machines? They're not stalling on the paper reciept legislation for nothing. I hope I'm wrong but I just cannot comprehend this evil group allowing honest elections to take place. Whether it's marshall law - terror attack - or good old fashioned vote stealing, I do not feel very hopeful. :-( I'm ready for a virtual slap "snap out of it" in the face. Go at it.

7. Thank You
I needed to hear that.

You are correct!
Kerry is going to win!

I am going to work damn hard to ensure that it happens.
This country is too important to let * have it for four more years.
(I cringe at the thought).

As John Kerry said: "Let America be America again".

The Pirates of Halliburton are sinking fast, no matter what the phony polls say. They stink of flop sweat.

16. 5 VOTERS! (3 is acceptable) is the GOAL!
Each and everyone of us and all who support Kerry get 5 VOTERS to the voting booth. That is the GOAL. That will sure it up and supercede any doubt about voting systems.

11. Amen. I'm very confident, even here in Texas
I know Kerry won't take my state, but I sense a lot of displeasure down here. At least, a lot more than I thought I would see.

Over a 1000 dead in Iraq. A ballooning deficit. More layoffs coming (just read about EDS). It goes on and on. Nothing is getting better.

The undecideds will come through for us in a big way. It won't be a landslide, but it won't be as close as many think.

WE WILL WIN!

12. The polls are skewed in favor of the Chimp
Even Zogby said so.
This bullshit about forged vs. non-forged documents is all a diversionary tactic orchestrated by Rove and Scaife.

We will prevail if we keep our focus and don't let ourselves be distracted from the FACTS.

The economy is in the toilet; Iraq is a miserable failure; Afghanistan is a horrible failure; the world is more dangerous; the whole world hates us now thanks to the BFEE; we have no free press; we have lost our constitutional rights under the BFEE; Bush is a lying piece of scum.

Kerry is an honorable man and will win if people just quit freaking out and listening to the media blastfaxes from Rover. Last night the whores told us it's all over...Chimpy has won already and maybe Kerry should give up. Anyone who believes that bullshit is unable to read the internet. Fear and nationalism are the methods being used by the thugs to control the masses.
One on one we must talk to people in our daily lives and point out the facts. This is the most crucial election in our history. We can't afford to give up....EVER!!!!

LTE time. Beat the AWOL drum. Bush LIED and people DIED!

shrub and dicky the last couple of days?
Those guys look like they are about to have strokes!
I saw that look on Condaleza right before Tenant resigned and Regan reportedly died.
The pressure is on these guys, Kerry is actually kikin ass and the pollsters just have not caught up to that fact.
Watch the faces of the candidates, it tells a lot about where they are.

18. Well said and pretty much what I was thinking
We were all euphoric just after our convention and the Repukes are now. Big deal. Shrub's record hasn't changed - he's done nothing in 3.5 years and that's the bottom line. Maybe I'm giving people too much credit, but I really think this will dawn on them by the time election day rolls around. I just think eventually people are gonna see through the fear and smear campaign and the polls will be back in our favor before the election. Once they realize how much worse off they are now than they were before Shrub took office, all these silly distractions won't mean a thing. Unless health insurance premiums and gas prices suddenly plummet; unless all those millions of people suddenly find more than a Mac-job; unless the Bush-deficit suddenly goes away; unless Iraq suddenly becomes a shining example of Democracy and they give us back our 200 Billion; and of course unless they get Bin Laden (which I doubt because they've been doing their damnedest to make us forget about him).

26. Serious concerns
Yes very serious but I am willing to take the leap that those who normally don't pay much attention to these things will make sure that their vote counts and if this seem hay-wire they will raise hell, I am talking about the middle class type people who are more aware than they are given credit for about the Fla. vote thing.

But of course the pressure needs to be kept ON.

36. We here in Big Blue...
...started a letter campaign two years ago and CA is now suing Diebold. The paper trail drum has to have a big beat too.

If a gas pump can give a damned receipt, so can a fucking voting machine. The BFEE liars and cheats can't get away with this one!

We KNOW those machines lie! Florida, Georgia, Tennessee...all for certain stole votes using machines. Even Pat Buchanan said so....and I never thought in my life I'd agree with a word out of his mouth.

Hillary Clinton has proposed legislation requiring a paper trail. We need to support that....LTE time again, also your congressthings.

25. Salute!
Sir! Yes, Sir!

I was just thinking this myself.

Go down to your local campaign office and do something!

Bring them supplies if you don't want to canvas or work the phone bank. Most of these offices can use things like poster board, copy paper, goodies for the workers and stuff like that.

I went down there today, and sat talking to a worker for a few moments about which of the Headquarters in my area needed me the most. I'm battling it out in Wisconsin, you see.

I never take off the Kerry button. I have issue papers up the wazzoo so that when I'm approached about why I'm voting Kerry, I know my stuff. And I get a decent amount of inquiries too, since I live smack dab in the middle of Bush Country. I was even asked to put together some information for a lady in my office who's daughter is voting for the first time and wanted to check out Kerry.

I'm actively trying to turn ABB'ers into Kerryites. I know, I know. I was an ABB'er too. But if you give Kerry a good hard look, you will find a decent person who may not further your particular pet issue, but who will do the best job he knows how for the biggest number of people he can. And though ABBing can bring various anti-Bushers together, it does nothing to swing independant and undecideds. Being against Bush isn't good enough. We've all got to find reasons to be excited about Kerry.

I'm also in touch with the yahoo group, Republicans for Kerry, to see what Moderates and Conservatives want, and what they feel Kerry will give them over Bush. For one thing, Kerry is the closest thing to a fiscal Conservative between the two. Bush spends money like a drunken sailor.

For another, Kerry has REAL anti-terrorism credentials. Read his book "A New War"

Also, when someone brings up his voting record, remind them that this was the man who broke Iran/Contra and took down BCCI, the bank that was used by Noriega and other not so nice folks, terrorists included, to launder their money. As a Senator with investigative credentials, I'm sure he scares the crap out of Bush and Co. I sometimes get the giggles just thinking about it.

Use and send people to factcheck.org. Good resource. So is snopes.com for Kerry myth debunking.

Anyway, keep the faith. And use the nervous energy on the campaign. Trust me, it's a real morale booster, especially when I watch old vets come in looking for pins and signs and such.

Little Clarkie

You are absolutely right. We will win, if we keep on pushing and not let the polls and the pols and rat bastard pundits grind us down.
I too wear my Kerry button all the time ( well, except to bed) and 95% of the time get a positive response.
We've just got to keep at it.
And while we're at it, lets keep supporting those progressive candidates, and sending off emails to the people who are supposed to be representing EVERYONE not just the people who voted for them and letting the media know that the right wing is the wrong wing.

Keep the faith.
