Isn't Willow cute enough?
Ever notice that Caribou Barbie is only shown with Piper whenever she wants a photo op? It's always Piper, Piper, Piper with her other than when she feels she has to tote Trig around like a sack of potatoes. But never Willow. Maybe Willow has figured out Mommie Dearest and refuses to cooperate?

2. +1. I don't care to learn anything more about Mooseburgers except
when we're assured she won't try to return to Washington.

3. Willow's old enough to put 2 and 2 together
She sees the way Bristol and Track are treated. She's staying out of the way because she doesn't want to answer questions that might not come out the way Mommy would like.

10. It was Piper who was out on the ice with team sweatshirt on
in Philly, not Willow. She was overheard saying she was taking Piper with her because they wouldn't boo Piper in her Philly sweatshirt. I did see replays of that about 100 times.

11. Both girls were at both games.

Philadelphia sports fans, who once booed Santa Claus at an Eagles football halftime show, greeted Palin in similar fashion when she dropped the ceremonial first puck at center ice prior to the Flyers' season opener against the Rangers at the Wachovia Center. Loud boos rained down when she walked out on the ice just after 7 p.m. with her daughters Willow and Piper. Palin then greeted the Rangers' Scott Gomez, an Alaska native, the Flyers' Mike Richards and Cathy O'Connell, who won the team's "Ultimate Hockey Mom" contest.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin waves to the crowd, followed by her daughter Willow, as they walk out to drop the first puck before the start of the St. Louis Blues' game against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.

12. I'll admit when I'm wrong
I think maybe the tv coverage made a thing showing Piper because really my only recollection is CB with Piper. :banghead:

19. No biggie...Piper definitely gets discussed more in the media, so it's easy to see why
Willow tends to get overlooked.

5. Kids don't get to pick their parents and I never hold any child accountable
for the actions of a parent. I also can understand how any child may love a parent no matter how bad others may view that person.

6. My theory about Willow... is that she leans left, critices her mom, etc
Edited on Tue Nov-11-08 01:22 PM by Essene
I also think on some level that Sarah Palin is deeply bothered by Willow's lack of respect for her. Willow is the smart, cautious, perceptive one.

Palin is probably hurt by those glares of disapproval...

I think Willow is the single most sane member of that otherwise backwards family, and I wont be shocked if she's the one who runs off to the northeast to go to college... and never looks back.

The names are perfect and so is the premise and the characters. Man, Comedy Central could have fun with it.

8. these months would have made the greatest Reality TV show... ever
right down to Sarah Palin having a GOP lawyer come up to Alaska... looking for the $200k in clothing... and Palin having to dig through all her suitcases and yell at the children to bring their clothes downstairs, etc.

22. BTW, the Palin kids missed alot of school
Piper was asked on the NBC interview I saw last night about missing school. She said she missed alot of school and yes, it is hard catching up. Momma Palin jumped in to say that their experience during the campaign was probably better than anything she could learn sitting at her desk. So, there's the answer. No tutor for the children on the campaign trail. Piper also the rallies were hard because her mother's speeches lasted too long.
