Palin: Bloggers who question me are "living in their parents basement"

She said this in the interview with Greta Van Susteren on FOX News as Greta grilled her on the scandals of the campaign she was involved with.

Anyone else notice how pissed off and angry she looked?

You claim your outspoken opponents "live in their parents' basement."


Yet you're living off illegal per deims and shopping with the RNC's money, in a house built illegally using Wasilla's taxes.

I wish an angry McCain official would go on camera and tell her she is lying.

Make some charges, the press follows up and presto, Palin gets to stay on camera more than she would have under normal post-election circumstance.

The press pieces turn into showcases and after spending a couple of minutes refuting the charges she spends the rest of the coverage puffing herself up even more for her base when she runs in 2012.

As I guess the phrasing would go..."Briliantly played, RNC".

Isn't some Republican blogger kid partly responsible for her fame? I remember seeing him on the Colbert Report I think....he started the Draft Sarah for VP petition way back.

Compared to prior jokers, he really captured the *character* well.

The Joker, as iconified, was an insane, scene-chewing, caricature of brutal, psychopathic, madness...

Not some smooth talker (Nicholson), or make-up and costume gag (multiple TV series).

Out there, each with a claim on iconic plurality -- and the same is true of the villains.

But from a purely thespic point of view, I hated Ledger's performance. I also hated the movie, so maybe that colored my thinking.

I'd really like her to be around for 2012.

In the meantime, she serves as a very useful distraction for 'Licans who ought to be checking the cloakroom for their lost relevance (I think it was stolen by "Billy-Bob the Meth Maker" from South Bumfuque, Alabama), but instead will spend the next several years convincing themselves that they lost because they didn't veer far enought to the right.
