What about Howard Dean?
All I see and hear about are Clinton and Palin (yawn).

Anybody know anything about what Dr. Dean is going to do?

Not having him chosen for some weighty position would be a tragedy.

(Leahy's up for reelection in 2 years I think...could Howard run? I love Leahy tho, and am not pushing him out of anything, but he is getting old).

4. I heard something about
a doctor or surgeon from the U of Chicago whom Obama plays basketball with might be chosen....

I think the cabinet posts would have to be shifted around and renamed somewhat though, that is, if universal health care is adopted.

There would have to be a health agency to study medicine, drugs, etc., and an agency to deal with financial claims, like SS, wouldn't there? Too big a job for one Secretary, but what do I know? Same as most of you, nothin. :)

17. Amen to that...
Thank you.

How do these people get elected when I'm in a dither worrying about Howard Dean getting something good..er uh, I think I know how Lieberman got elected....the Clintons campaigned for him and helped to defeat the real Democratic primary nominee, Ned Lamont.

And I heard where David Bonior (formerly an Edwards aide) isn't interested in govt work anymore. Such a pity.

14. Rahm's a Clinton staffer...
The Clinton's didn't like Howard Dean; he wasn't DLC-ish enough for them.

Hope Obama can think for himself like we all gave him credit for... he's surrounding himself with Clinton people :(
