this ad is everywhere. I'm getting really tired of seeing it. Who is paying for this crap? These ads are not cheap. They're all over HuffPo, DU, RS,...

it seems "push polling" has made it to the internets.

these "soda heads" also bring us:

15. ya, but that doesn't tell me who is paying for all those "push poll" ads
Jason may or may not be the person running the show, or paying for the ads.

It costs a lot to advertise on huffington post. and their ads are up there (and here on DU, and on Raw Story) all the time. people don't pay for all that advertising, just for kicks.

it's either some moran named jason who thinks he can influence people's minds with push poll advertising, or

it's a neocon group working with jason, doing the same

4. Every election is bought. And usually it goes to whoever has the biggest war chest. Hence my
interest in publicly financed equal monies campaigns.

16. the ads are in the OP
when you click on the ads you go to sodahead.com

but I think the real intent is the ads themselves. I don't think the people doing this give a crap about the results of the poll, or if people go to their website to vote in the poll.

the intentions of the ad are to make a statement and try to influence people's minds.

when you see an ad 50+ times that says "did Obama buy the presidency" disguised as a polll, eventually ponder the question yourself.

when you see an ad 50+ times that says "are you ready for a liberal america?" disguised as a poll, start to buy into the idea that obama is bringing a "liberal america" which is still a bad word in many people's minds.

I think the polls are just a sideshow. Just pretend the ads say "Obama bought the presidency" and "Obama is bringing a liberal america." That's what's really going on here, just disguised as a poll.
