Rosie O'Donnell wants Sarah Palin as her beer buddy!

American television host and actress Rosie O'Donnell has revealed that she would like to get to know the governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin better.

O'Donnell said that she would like to have a beer with Palin, and meet her kids. “I'd like to have a beer with her,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Extra.

“I'd like to meet her kids. She seems like a pretty nice woman. Although I have to say, I am thrilled her party did not win. (But) you got to give it to her for spunk,” she said.

O'Donnell admits that she's got a soft spot for Palin's tenacity and ambition.

“I think I probably would like her (Palin) if I met her. She had an amazing life for herself and her family in Alaska. Very successful. Before you knew it, she was the most famous person in the country,” she stated.

That tenacity seems to be no more that a clever opportunism that covers up a less than stellar ability to think.

Palin will always be an insult to me. With all the qualified women out there, they pick that one. She was no more responsible for her "being the most famous person in the country" than Joe the Plumber was.

O'Donnell is not impressing me very much either.

NO sense. Look at just one of the things she said a couple days ago: ""...And I speak for other Republicans, other Republican governors also they being willing also to again seize this opportunity that we have to progress this nation together-united front." This was in response to a question by Wolf Blitzer about her wanting to work with Obama (after saying she still has questions about Obama's "associations" with an "unrepentant terrorist." :wtf:

Thinking with the, well, in men it would be called 'thinking with the other head', not sure what it the term is with women. We've seen a number of male right wingers (like Rich Lowry from the National Review i think) attribute weird shit like this to Palin who clearly only thought she was 'hot', and that thinking clouded their judgement.

I seem to remember her doing that. It was during his first term. Anyway, I don't understand why she would do this now, if she's been critical up until this point. It's not like Palin has redeemed herself of anything. She's just dug herself deeper during her blanket post election interviews.
