Clarence Thomas is probably only doing this to keep some ember lit in the ashes of the Republican Party's defeat. He must also have time on his hands. He just wants to get some modicum of revenge on the Democrats. He is sick and twisted.

Do you know if any law school academicians, constitutional scholars, have publicly spoken on this?

I'll check it out after the Yale-Harvard game today...

9. Thanks, and not to my knowledge. I've tried to find opinions

by scholars. Not happening that I can see. And there's nothing unusual about a conference. The vast majority of conference cases are not granted cert. The SC is very careful about what cases it takes.
