Sarah Palin and dog doo on your shoe

No matter how much you wash and spray the bottom of your shoe, you just can't be sure you've gotten it all. An imaginary, residual scent lingers.

And no matter how much many of us want Sarah Palin to just go away, there's the residual suspicion that we're just not going to see the end of her anytime soon.

What I find both horrifying and terrifying is how many people (yes, wingnut and fundie Republicans are people) worship her.

Well, maybe there's a silver lining here. She will no doubt help keep Republicans divided between those who thrive on greed and those who are simply insane. Hopefully, the insane will win in the short term, put her up for Prez in 2012, and watch their delusions turn to dust.

Then again, what if all this happens and she wins??? I guess I've got to be careful what I wish for.
