Lighting up the Radar........
If there's anything good to come out of the effort to discredit the memos exposed on 60 minutes, it is that it has lighted up the Republican defenses for us.

Here's what I mean:

The White House has been absolutely silent about the memos, but certain right wing blogs and news (pseudo-news)agencies have been very, very active in carrying the "memos are fake" theme. In addition, certain cable and network news agencies have shown the extent to which they are influenced by right wing sources.

In a sense, it's sort of like probing an enemy's air defense system. Light up their radar screens and monitor their command-and-control system. We now see the whole chain of command from the White House to the media....we can see who is absolutely doing their bidding and who is not and everything in between.

I think they's done us a favor.......they've lit up on our radar screens......

3. Who knows, maybe Dubya will go on the Limbaugh show this week?
They have a lot of faith in their "media" operations...

4. Good point, but will the Dems take advantage
of these weaknesses. The GOP machine is relentless, calculating, highly organized, and driven, almost maddeningly driven with the singular cause of making Kerry look like Satan himself.

Think of the Dem's job as the good guys against the Terminator Robots.

5. Great. Too bad our weapons systems are empty
I have never felt so utterly powerless in the face of the gigantic media machine they have built as I have the past month.
We can do nothing else but call them out on it throught what reputable sources are left.

6. We still have the ability to do what we can to get the Kerry's message
out working with our local precincts or traveling to a battleground state. It won't be easy but the reward will be much more satisfying when we celebrate together on November 3.
