Winning without honor isn't really winning? but...
I don't see how Kerry is going to beat the liar from crawford if he doesn't play just as dirty. An article in my local paper praised the liar's campaign and said that Kerry is falling further and further behind (I think it was from the AP). I know what you all report from various polls and they don't necessarily indicate the same but I must say that I keep waiting for Kerry to REALLY slam the liar and he hasn't done so. Unfortunately, I believe that American voters (at leat the ones we have left to win to win the election) appreciate hard hitting (even if not completely truthful) attacks--I mean we are a country that like its violence--wrestling, boxing, Ahnold moovies)

Kerry needs to SLAM that goddamn liar.

1. Can yuo hear a tree falling in the middle of the forest
if you are not there?

Has the media covered fully any of Kerry's speeches beyond, and that was partial, the convention?

See my point?

It is the media stupid

2. Kerry's job (and he's doing it well) is to get out his message
His job is to instill voter confidence in who HE is, not who George Bush isn't. Let Edwards and other campaign designees do their job, let Kerry continue to do his.

3. I agree with the assessment of the media but..
We cannot blame the media or we come across as whiners. If Kerry wants the headlines he needs to take them. Call the bastard a liar--say it is fault that we had 9-11--say that Cheney is a corrupt bastard--steal the headlines. People see Kerry as reactive not proactive. The repubs do this better than us and until we decide that we will not win without getting dirty we are introuble.

5. I can and do blame the media. The WH has complete control of most
of the media, save maybe CBS which, after many years of hibernation finally awakened. Democrats are trying to save this country and will, but if one only listens to cable news and the right wing papers it will be a tough job.
