Where can I listen to Air America online?
I'm alone in my office today and wanted to listen in. I tried the website at www.airamerica.com, but it's not coming up.

Is there another place to stream?

I never get to listen to anything but right-wing radio since I live in Tennessee and there are no other options - I'd like to listen today when I won't distrub anyone else in my office.

4. Thanks!
I don't know what's wrong with the Air America website. Probably overloaded from all the Dems in the South who aren't allowed any liberal media from their overly-conservative radio bosses. :)

2. I don't know where you can listen to Air America, per se

but one of my favorite progressive stations online is WCPT in Chicago. I listen to the first hour of Stephanie Miller on them because we don't have a local progressive station here and Sirius XM doesn't carry their first hour on America Left.

Go to http://www.chicagoprogressivetalk.com/ and click Listen Live.

Oh, and one more hint, for when you're not alone in the office: ear buds work wonders. :-)

3. It's coming up for me, but here is an alternative...
I also listen to this Minnesota station.

Stephanie Miller is on right now and then Ed Schultz in a little over an hour.

Air America Radio is working for me:

5. I couldn't get that to come up, either.
Maybe I'm hitting a glut when I try or something.

6. Are you behind a corporate firewall?
Some block streaming audio altogether.

11. No - I have near-admin rights.
I think I just tried it when several others nationwide were trying it.

I'm streaming another station now.

7. This is the best website for current talk radio links.
The menu has ALL types of options on the air. I just bookmark the progressive choice page.

The list is updated as the programs go on the air.......it's great!

Enjoy.

12. Yeah - but when you live where I do, you'd want the Fairness Doctrine.

We have absolutely NO choice besides right-wing radio. Many of us cannot afford satellite radio to listen in our cars - where most radio listening occurs. If we were just thrown a bone - one show - it would be helpful, but no. Stations, locally, won't even try it. The filthy little secret is that they won't try it, not because it wouldn't be popular (my county is red, but the city is deep blue), but because the frothy-mouthed right-wingers would fire bomb, boycott and protest any business that advertised on it. :(

Just click on radio, then talk/spoken word, and select Air America.
