I was...

He and his "independent" nonsense and party bashing really creep me out....

4. I don't know how far that goes
but he was saying things like let him have a run before we start criticizing and he was happy that Obama was not being ideological etc..

5. What's weird is that I like most of them too.
Part of it is that the right-wing will try to prove they are giving Obama a chance so that if he screws up at all they can say "See, we let him do what he wanted and look where we are now."

7. David Brody?
He is an okay guy. Religious but not crazy. He once interviewed Biden and came off as semi normal. I bet lots of Repubs like Obama, they just don't want to admit it. Competence, leadership and likability will take you a long way with people.

3. Lou Dobbs is about an independent as my ass
and I am fully Democrat. Seriously, who even cares what that racist thinks? I like Obama's picks. Maybe Lou decided to jump on the O's bandwagon because he realizes the O is popular right now?

6. They will be setting up for the kill......Don't be fooled....
But first, they are going to allow Obama to rescue the nation economically, and then they'll get back at kicking his ass, as lou Dobbs did daily during the primaries and the general election.

Lou Dobbs doesn't want to lose all of his money you know.....none of them do.

But any grace to Obama is temporary.

12. Something is very very very very wrong.
The fundies, Dobbs and Limbaugh all think they were great picks?

Have the earth's poles shifted? Are we experiencing unusual sunspot activity? Have aliens abducted these people and reprogrammed them? Were they hyponotized by Obama's use of the word "pie"?

My spidey-sense is tingling on this one.

I know it's silly, but it really does concern me. If they are praising Obama's picks either 1) it's a trick or 2) perhaps we need to rethink some things.

:scared:

14. They're just trying not to look like complete buffoons.
They spent months claiming Obama was a wild-eyed Marxist. Now that Obama is appointing sensible, pragmatic, intelligent people to top posts, they have little choice but to feign pleasant surprise.

15. good for Lou Dobbs
Edited on Wed Dec-03-08 12:54 AM by jzodda
He also said he wanted to take the Wall street bailout money and transfer it to the people instead later on in that same show. It's ok if he agrees with us on some things. Why the hell not? It's better that he agrees with us then us agreeing with him, if you get my meaning. Maybe there is hope for people like him, though to be fair he is not your typical republican type. At least not anymore. The Dobbs of the last few years is a right leaning populist which makes him harder to classify politically.

18. Obama got LESS white votes WINNING the prez than Kerry did LOSING it. The reThug party sees itself..
...as irrelevant now and the trend will increase going froward.

All the dems have to do is run a minority + white guy = win every election for another 2 generations of Americans or until power has corrupted them absolutely.

Kudlow was all giddy too, it's the MsM meme now "Obama is ALREADY breaking campaign promises" and they'll keep it up knowing Obama has a huge following of people who are at the LEAST paying half ass'd attention to what he does.

Reich wingers want to feel relevant so they'll continue their "we got something" attitude while their party circles the drain
