(Offered because it's an interesting observation about a process of which we know little, whether true or not. There is also the possibility that she knew something but didn't tell Bill, which would be wise. She knows the man...)

9. I find it somewhat hard to believe

that Hillary Clinton is unaware of when she is under consideration for promotion to a top cabinet spot. I mean, you have to assume that the Obama camp did not even send out feelers to see if she was interested for the job, that there were leaks, and yet none of those leaks were directed towards the powerful, influential subject of the leak.

I too find it hard to believe that they were sitting around the tv, no doubt sipping hot cocoa in this scenario, heard some talking head like Katie Couric spill the beans, to which Hillary with wide eyes said something like "What, lil' ole me? For Secretary of State?"
