I cannot vote for Kerry. He is a Bush enabler!!!

I cannot vote for Kerry unless he changes his position on marijuana legalization. Kerry has enabled Bush to restrict and outlaw weed. Kerry needs to to give a speech tomorrow outlining how he is going to legalize grass or I will not be able to vote for him.

He was banned after about 400 posts. He claimed he was a Green party member and wasn't voting for Kerry. He kept that racket up for about 4 days. I alerted about 10 of his posts and they wouldn't ban his inflammatory ass. Eventually they did. I didn't even waste my time on that post. It would have been one thing if you wrote it, but someone with 32 posts? yeah right.

I remember him very well. He also had horrid spelling and was just a complete idiot, a total fake too. It was no doubt a disrupter - and fuckin' DUers would just run like lemmings into that idiot's threads.

I had tickets for a Yankees playoff game in the bleachers. I threw a 7 at the end of it and that's how I got the name. I never thought I was going to stay here so I never thought of using something more creative. :toast:

So then who are you going to vote for? I mean think about what you are saying..Either you have smoked too much weed today and are just being silly, or you are in need of some real guidance. Personally I don't get why the government doesn't see the potential wealth involved in selling marijuana, they would rather leave it to all the drug dealers who have an open market to make millions. It amazing me that people can justify drinking alcohol but look at weed as some evil drug. All I can say is Bush getting drunk every night and eventually having to stop drinking, is no different than using drugs...Alcohol is a drug like it or not...So all we can hope for from any candidate or politician is that someone will see that smoking a joint is no worst than downing a couple beers at the end of the day. Until then my friend, stick to the issues that are attainable and vote for Kerry...Then go smoke a joint!!

We have never had a legitimate War on Drugs in the United States, ever, and we won't until we have treatment on demand for addiction and until you have full drug education in our schools. The mandatory-minimum-sentencing structure of our country is funneling people into jail who have no business being there.

And every year, the number of people arrested for marijuana offenses goes up.

I've met plenty of people in my lifetime who've used marijuana and who I would not qualify as serious addicts -- who use about the same amount as some people drink beer or wine or have a cocktail. I don't get too excited by any of that.

No, not quite. What we did in the prosecutor's office was have a sort of unspoken approach to marijuana that was almost effectively decriminalization. We just didn't bother with small-time use. It doesn't rise to the level of nuisance, even. And what we were after was people dealing with heroin and destroying lives, and people who were killing people. That's where you need to focus.
