BREAKING: Phillip J. Berg filed a lawsuit in the aftermath of the 1993 World Series...
...insisting that the Championship title be given to his hometown team, the Philadelphia Phillies, who lost 2 games to 4.

Berg v. Blue Jays, filed while Joe Carter's walk-off home run was still airborne, claimed that Toronto had been ineligible to represent the American League in the Series because they "are Canadian, and thus are not technically from America."
