...thanks to a fellow DUer, I just discovered Blinko TV. I haven't had cable TV for a year and a half, so it's been a vidclip here, a podcast there...the only thing I miss is TV Food Network and MSNBC.

Their HD section is growing. They have alot of shows and movies as well, with about 1/10th the advertising you would get on network tv. Between that and the network sites themselves I haven't watched tv on a tv in six months.

Granted I am not into the super high end AV equipment, but streaming at 480p with a 1mb connection is getting a heck of alot better imo. I don't work there, just want to pass it on. Great site imo.

I'm self-employed and found in the last couple of years that a monthly cable bill was ridiculous for the amount of time I spend in front of the TV (next to none). So things like Blinko, Hulu and the network sites (as well as YouTube) area great for that quick fix.

Why do I keep watching that crap? It's God awful. I must be as stupid as Mika has become. And it's pathetic, because the people on that show that should know better (Mika, Barnicle), just go along with Joe's stupid shit.

Joe just said that it was SOCIALISM that led to all of this mess. That CNBC guy said that "true capitalism" will return, and this was just corrupt capitalism. Guess what fuckers?
