Harry Reid sticks to the Republicans...

"By rejecting every good-faith bipartisan compromise -- including those from the White House and Senator Bob Corker -- it is now abundantly clear that Republicans have no interest in keeping the Big Three from collapsing.... Republicans may think that rejecting this legislation sent a message to the auto industry. Instead, they sent a message to every single American that they are more interested in settling scores than solving problems." - Senator Harry Reid

14. Uh, you got that from my post how?
I was commenting that it was surprising to hear Reid speak for himself for once.
How does that at all translate to 'a lack of understanding for everyday working Americans'?

2. Everything is guided by their stupid ideology
That is what got us in this crisis, that is why they reacted to global warming by building bigger more obscene gas guzzlers than ever before.

Unions are against their ideology, and as we have found out the hard way, ideology comes before country with these morons.

12. That is what's called a "procedural" vote
Under Senate rules, any Senator that voter FOR cloture cannot bring the bill back up for a vote. Thus, when the vote is doomed to fail typically one Senator, usually Reid, changes their vote to Nay so that they can bring it back for a vote again.

13. Beat me to it.
Reid's vote was to ensure that if down the road, the Senate wanted to bring this bill up for another vote that he can do so.
