Elevating those that divide our people isn't what we need now
given the character of those that have damaged the public well the last seven years. This damage is real and has led to bad policies and some public stife. There can exist those that you would not lend your hand to because there can't be a coming together. That's a part of life. Our country has regressed socially, intellectually and legally over the past seven years. This is not to disparage attempts at some national healing but to realize some will never seek that healing and cannot be joined. They have to make that transition on their own in their heart and cast away that part of them that damages others.
