Obama is going to be a great President:
Obama is positioning himself to:
  • implement his vision via cabinet members who have in the past held opposite views.

  • shred to pieces the message of intolerance advanced by people like Rick Warren.

  • restore America's credibility in the world.
Agree? Possible?

Yes, why?

No, why not?

1. Disagree...
You do not shred people to whom you are giving center stage. That enforces their messages and makes it seem like you agree with it.

2. Obama was obviously a "third way" candidate. This is (nearly) Clinton's third term.

I said this would happen over and over and over during the primary.

About all three of the top candidates (for the most part).

Not as a criticism, but as a warning for these times.

No liberal paradise was forthcoming.

And he Will be a Great President.

5. Maybe that's what some people wanted.
"Big Dawg is back" "Barack = Clinton 2.0"

I don't see it, but some people should be happy.

3. Obama has the potential to be the greatest president since FDR.
He has the intelligence and the political skills and he seems to be choosing his administration based on capability rather than the public opinion of the month.

I strongly believe he will be THE president we need to help the country get out of the terrible mess the GOP and the Bush regime got us into.

4. Yes, he will. His detractors are the same group of people
time and time again. Their outrage changes from one thing to the next, but their usernames are consistent. And most of them supported Clinton.
