***Day 3 of Minnesota Canvassing Board US Senate Ballot Examination - Live Video Here!***
Edited on Thu Dec-18-08 11:14 AM by prodn2000
It is amazing listening to the challenges being withdrawn by the Coleman campaign. A few precincts in Blue Earth County, it seems, had a Coleman representative challenging every single freaking ballot. Thankfully, they were all withdrawn, but the board still had to have a vote on each withdrawal.

1. The Star Tribune continues to impress me!
Their coverage of this has broken new ground in so many ways.

Look at the links you can click on next to the video:

2. I agree
I know the paper's Op/Ed board endorsed Coleman, but there their coverage of this recount has been awesome.

5. Lots better when there are transparent paper ballots, rather than electronic ether.

4. I Wish They Had That in Florida
It makes the process so much more transparent.

Plus you get bonuses like the "lizard people" ballot.

6. Bret Favre and the Lizard People (and K and R)
Oh, the wacky things people do to their ballots:
The following article discussed two ballots that were contested, the first has "Bret Favre" written in and went to Coleman, the second was rejected, Franken did not get this vote.
I think the distinction is that "Bret Favre" was a write in for president, "Lizard People" was in the same column as Franken's vote, thus causing confusion.

(I could not link the image for the coleman ballot)
