Who's writing Obama's inauguration speech?
I wish he'd get Mario Cuomo. No one, and I mean no one, writes a speech like he does.

3. Probably that jerk who was photographed copping a feel
of Hillary's cut out or maybe his buddy on the other side of the cut out who's feeding it beer while holding its hair and kissing it. It could also be the guy laughing in the background. They are all part of Obama's speech writing team.

12. Obama needs to get rid of those jocks.

We don't need unbridled sexism in the West Wing.

13. It'll never happen.
He never uttered a word about the incident and his transition team issued a poorly worded statement about Favreau "reaching out" to senator Clinton. Well, I think that he has already done enough reaching out......

7. Sorry. It's Favreau. The Washington Post has a feature story on him ....
including the fact that he's the point man for the inaugural speech.

Very few politicians write their speeches. The best speech writers ( of which it appears that Favreau falls) spend so much time around their employers that they learn how to write in the employer's voice to the extent that you wouldn't know the speaker didn't write the text.

10. A Cuomo fan here too, was it he who said....
....he couldn't envisage, in the next decade or so, a President whose surname ended in a vowel?

11. He's probably writing it himself
He's written all of his major speeches himself: the 2004 convention speech, the race speech, the 2008 convention speech, and probably his election night speech too.
